China to Merge Television, Radio Networks Into Cable Company, Daily Says

China plans to merge radio and television networks under a national cable network company to develop them into large-scale entities, China Daily reported, citing Tao Shiming, director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Televisions society administration bureau.
